Suzie Brown
If Suzie Brown had an anthem, it'd have to be the twangy "Heartstrings," off her same-named debut. A string-soaked ode to unrequited love, the debut single delicately marked her transition from Harvard-educated cardiologist to singer-songwriter, now musing on matters of the heart. In the three years since making good on her extracurricular activity, she's been named the Best of Philly (by Philadelphia magazine) and opened for such kindred spirits as Lyle Lovett. And if her name doesn't ring a bell, her first single will: Picked up by the Play Network, "Heartstrings" can currently be heard soulfully wafting through stores nationwide.

Sarah Blacker
Sarah Blacker's music is a unique blend of acoustic rock, folk, and jazz with stand-out vocals and timeless songwriting with a quirky twist that helps to set her apart from other female singer/songwriters.
The past year has been filled with excitement for Blacker as she not only performed a sold-out tour of Germany last fall, (thanks to a woman who heard her music in a Boston hotel) but is a current nominee for Boston Music Awards ‘Singer/Songwriter of the Year,' was selected out of thousands of entrants to perform as an 'Emerging Artist' at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, won the title of 2011 My Rural Radio 'Artist of the Year,' and was a nominee in Limelight Magazine for singer/songwriter of the year, and for female performer of the year in the New England Music Awards. She showcased at CMJ in NYC, SXSW in Austin, TX, and was invited as a special guest or supporting act for America, James Montgomery, Bruce Marshall, Anais Mitchell, Entrain, Farren Butcher Inc., Jess Klein, Anjte Duvekot, Catie Curtis & Carbon Leaf.
