Dear Friend of Steel City Coffee House,
In July of 2010, we purchased Steel City Coffee House because, like you, we love live music and
the arts. In the past year, we have worked hard to make Steel City an even better place. We
have upgraded our stage and sound system for the benefit of both the artists and the audience.
We have completely renovated our kitchen in order to serve food made fresh, in-house for a
better dining experience. Additionally, we have made a number of other aesthetic improvements
so the time that you spend at Steel City is more comfortable and enjoyable. Although we have
accomplished a lot in the last year, we are not finished. We are now in the process of re-facing
the entire front façade of Steel City with a colorful, ceramic tile mosaic that will enhance and
beautify not only Steel City, but the entire Phoenixville downtown area.
As you know, Steel City is a vital part of the Phoenixville community. We have a deep and long
lasting commitment to the younger generation and provide a diverse musical and cultural haven
for many people in Phoenixville and the surrounding areas. But as special as Steel City is to so
many people, things have not been easy. The economy has hit many local people and businesses
hard and Steel City has not been immune to this economic challenge. As the sixth owners of Steel
City since 2001, we know that in order to ensure our long-term success, we need to think of new
ways to:
- Add value to your musical and artful life through continued music, art and great food;
- Increase revenues to not only maintain the business, but grow the music and entertainment value that Steel City brings to our community;
- Make you a financial “partner” and friend in our work; and Provide you with benefits, discounts and opportunities only available to those special “partners.”
Therefore, we are launching the Steel City Membership Program, an opportunity for you to
become a member of the Steel City Membership Band. This program will offer our loyal patrons,
like you, an opportunity to invest in Steel City's future while receiving musical, artful and financial

We have five levels of membership available, plus Road Crew, and we're sure that one will fit
your style. Each level of membership comes with certain gifts and privileges and your becoming a
member will help Steel City keep its doors wide open and continue to serve the arts, artists and
art lovers of Phoenixville and the greater Philadelphia area for years to come.
